CEO & Founder
Fifteen years ago, Justin Palmer arrived in New York City with nothing but four thousand dollars and a dream: to change the world through real estate development. When he founded Synapse, in 2012, he saw his chance to make a real difference on the urban landscape. In the seven years since, his team has applied an innovative approach to sustainability and technological innovation to a diverse portfolio of real estate assets, now worth an excess of $260 million. As Founder & CEO of Synapse, he is responsible for making good on his original mission: to build a more livable future.
COO & Partner
In 2000, Cyril Morel started his first business venture: selling software on his Palm Pilot IIIC. It would not be his last. On graduating from Baruch College with a degree in Economics, Cyril started his career in the United Nations where he used technology to transform peacekeeping operations, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. Four years later, he left the organization for the private sector and ultimately, Synapse, to bring technological innovation into the real estate business, and the world at large. As Senior Partner and Chief Operating Officer, Cyril commands the firm’s day-to-day operations and supports senior management in mapping a strategic path forward.
