Jamie Piazza is the Director of Construction at Synapse Development Group. He is responsible for all aspects of Synapse’s construction activities. Direct responsibilities include coordinating design and planning, developing and negotiating Guaranteed Maximum Price contracts, and overseeing and coordinating communications between construction managers and consultants at every step of the process.
Prior to joining Synapse, he served as a Senior Project Manager for HFZ Capital Group, a Manhattan-based real estate investment, and development company, where he worked on notable condo conversion projects such as the Chatsworth and 88 & 90 Lexington Avenue. Prior to his role at HFZ Capital, Jamie served as Project Manager at Sciame Construction. At Sciame, he worked on the Pritzker Prize winner, Maki & Associates-designed, 51 Astor Place and the Diller Scofidio + Renfro-designed, Columbia University Medical Center. Jamie first began his career in construction while working for Tishman Construction on the Tishman/Turner Joint Venture World Trade Center Transportation Hub.
Mr. Piazza earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business.
